Access

The premises of the Department are universally accessible, as they are on the ground floor and have ramps (the secretariat ramp is on the left side as we look from the parking lot towards the secretariat). There is no provision for toilets specially configured for people with mobility difficulties. Students with special difficulties in adapting to the requirements of the study environment are recommended to contact the Advisory and Accessibility Structure of the Democritus University of Thrace.

The Department is located in the center of Komotini, at a distance of 800 meters from the main square, 200 meters from the Central Bus Station of Rodopi prefecture (access on foot even with luggage) and one and a half kilometers from the railway station. Komotini is served by both the airports of Alexandroupolis and Chrysoupolis (road distance 58 and 75 km respectively).
